Governance

The governance of Horticulture Executive Services is comprised of a representative from each shareholder. These shareholders are currently Summerfruit New Zealand, Tomatoes New Zealand, Vegetables New Zealand, and Onions New Zealand. 

Representatives are as follows: 

• Owen Symmans (Onions New Zealand and Chairman of HESL)
• Barry O'Neil (Tomatoes New Zealand)
• Roger Brownlie (Summerfruit New Zealand)
• John Murphy (Vegetables New Zealand )

The role of the Board is to support the operations of HESL. It is not a Board making strategic decisions about the wider sector.
